Replicants in Blade Runner

Blade Runner shows a dystopian society where they have replicants to go into space to do work. These new replicants that are the Nexus-6 edition are far more superior than any other species but they have a lifespan of only four years so they cannot take over. The reason the Nexus-6 replicants return to Earth is so that they can figure out a way to extend their lives, but learn this is not a possibility. They are the closest creatures to perfection because of their superior strength, agility, and intelligence and still demand more. The director of the movie is showing that nothing will ever be enough and that people will always be asking for more.
There is a debate whether Deckard is a replicant or not and I believe that he is one because the police officer Gaff makes origami figures based off of what is going on with the characters and at the end of the movie he creates a unicorn symbolizing that he isn’t a real person, but somebody created. Knowing this, they have replicants doing their dirty work by having them hunt down other replicants. The only way they are able to take down their replicant creations is with another replicant.
